After Prime Minister of Indian Narendra Modi inaugurated the statue of 12th century reformer Sri Basaveshwara and paid tribute, it is Dr Shivarajakumar in Karnataka visited the same place to receive honors from London Kannada Koota.

The 12th century reformer Sri Basaveshwara statue was unveiled by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he visited London on March 24, 2015. At this place near the Thames River Sri Basaveshwara Foundation President Dr Neeraj Patil honored Dr Shiv and Smt Geetha on 19th of March. The traffic around Albert Embankment garden for two hours was curtailed.

After the felicitation Dr Shiv went to Speaker House and at this place he was honored with ‘Vissionaire’ award. Another visit of Dr Shiv couple is Sri Ragavendra Swamy temple at England branch.
